It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Janet Lee Batorski of Sycamore, Illinois, born in Clare, Illinois, who passed away on March 4, 2023, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Gerald R. and Eleanor V. Matteson (Lanan); and her siblings, Judy Astling (Duane "Midge"), Beverly Webster (Joe) and Gerald J. "Jerry" Matteson.
She is survived by: her children, Cindy L. Hartline, Jean A. Armstrong, Lester L. Batorski Jr. (Marsha) and Luann L. Owens (Neal); her grandchildren, Stacy, Stephanie, Robert, Brett, Nicole, Natasha, Chad, Michelle and Toni; her sister Barbara Sieben (Gerald); and her sister-in-law Jody Matteson. She is also survived by 20 great-grandchildren; 14 great-great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the family for a fund to be established.
