She was predeceased by: her parents, Lester Maass and Martha Maass (Lindsay); and her brothers, Donald and William Maass. She is survived by: her husband Richard L. Garvey; her children, Phillip Klein, Jr. (Stacey), Misty Mescall (Ted), Kara Helmlinger (Keith) and Kami Garvey; her grandchildren, Carson, Lindsay, Brody, Aubrey, Cameron, Nora, Nathan, Rhiannon, Alexi, Danielle, Joshua and Mason; her cousin Connie Brandow (Tim); and her friends, Dr. Thakkar, Dr. M. Morker, Dr. Hildner and Foundation.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the Les Turner ALS Foundation in care of the Butala Funeral Home, 1405 DeKalb Ave., Sycamore, IL 60178.
