He was predeceased by: his parents, Jack Amato and Albie Amato; his stepparents, Rose Amato and Robert Sodt; his sister Ramona Borror; and his half-siblings, Laurel Rosenbaum, Jeannie Amato and Ralph Sodt.
He is survived by: his wife Madeline Vignola; his children, Donald (Reggie), Jack (Sue), Tina Weiss (Werner) and Debbie Paul (Brett); his grandchildren, Brandon, Aaron, Karen, Amanda, Hannah, Laura and Tiffany; his great grandchildren, Ezra and Quentin; and his pet Adama.
