He was predeceased by: his parents, Jane Bisco (Herbst) and Henry "Hank" Bisco of Roanoke, IL. He is survived by: his wife Gladys; his sons, Nathaniel Aureus Bisco and Henry Aureus Bisco; his siblings, Howard Bisco (Nancy Hughbanks) of East Peoria, IL, Jan Bisco of Bordentown, NJ and Joan Bisco of Lawrence, KS; his parents-in-law, Rebecca and Ricardo Aureus; and his sisters-in-law, Janice Gadbois, Pauline Aureus and Elizabeth Collins. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, February 20th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Friday, February 21st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A funeral service was held on Friday, February 21st 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Roanoke United Methodist Church (401 N Church St, Roanoke, IL 61561). A graveside service was held on Friday, February 21st 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Roanoke Township Cemetery (509 Husseman St, Roanoke, IL 61561). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Sycamore United Methodist Church (160 Johnson Ave, Sycamore, IL 60178).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Hugh's honor to "The Colorado Trail Foundation", PO Box 1292, Poncha Springs, CO 81242 or to "Scouting America" through the Memorial/Tribute Fund of Three Fires Council (Northern Illinois, including Sycamore) or W.D. Boyce Council (Central Illinois, including Roanoke).
