He is survived by: his children, Mary Rice (Bryan), Howard Jr. Newquist (Tamara), Jane Buttrey (Craig), Stephen Newquist (Ann) and Thomas Newquist (Sharon Burke); his brothers, Harvey Jr. and John Newquist; his grandchildren, Michael, Mark Rice, Christopher, Chad, Colby, Nicolette Mense and Andrew; and his great grandchildren, Owen Rice, Mason Mense, Ella and Adalyn Buttrey.
