With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Franklin Delano Roosevelt Skelton of Sycamore, Illinois, who passed away on February 4, 2021 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, L. Fred Skelton and Ida Skelton (Roggenburg); and his siblings, Albert, Louis, Irene, Dorothy, Mary, Delbert, Fred and Edith.
He is survived by: his wife Beatrice Yearton; his siblings-in-law, Josephine Maxstadt, Lydia Johnson, Betty Lahti, Linda Gibbs, Richard, Randy and Kenneth Yearton; his children, Kathy Smith (Dave), Amilyn Skelton, James (Shonda), Theodore (Tammy), Courtney (Robyn), Clayton (Terri) and Ronald; his grandchildren, Kristina Gould (Todd), Diana Zilz (Jack), Catherine Moore (Ryan), Nicholas Skelton (Heather), Rodney Cobb (Katy), Heather Hamm (Jeremy), Timothy Skelton (Allison), Krystle Haeberlin (Tristan Bartholomew), Nathaniel, Grace and Alison Skelton; and his great grandchildren, Elizabeth Gould, Jackson, Jonah Zilz, Eli Moore, Rory, Ellie Cobb, Emmaline, Nolan Skelton, Savannah, Grayson Hamm and Taylor Haeberlin Bartholomew.
