It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Eldon Mathey (Sycamore, Illinois), born in Hinckley, Illinois, who passed away on June 5, 2018, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his stepfather Oscar Zang; and his siblings, Mary Lou Brink and Albert "Rabbit" Mathey. He is survived by: his wife Donna; his children, Craig Mathey (Joyce), Douglas Mathey (Kristina) and Julie Terhark (Mike Bacon); his grandchildren, Mary Mathey Valdez (Edward Valdez), Hanna Mathey, John Eldon Mathey, Brandon Hafer (Jessie) and Dylan Hafer (Mikala); his great grandchildren, Liam Mathey, Levi Mathey, Landon, Austin and Maisie Hafer; his siblings, Norma Clarner (Kenneth), Larry Mathey (Alice), Lois Cullison and Francis "Fuz" Mathey (Diane); and his stepsiblings, Clem Zang, Cletis Zang, Richard Zang, Mike Zang and Mary Hindenburg. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
