He was predeceased by: his parents, George Robert Bridgewater and Lillian White; his former wife Ruth A. Williamson; his wife Violet Rainey Bridgewater; and his grandson Gregory Scott Bridgewater.
He is survived by: his son George Kenneth Bridgewater (late Mother Sandra Bridgewater); his granddaughter Meredith Bridgewater of Sycamore; and his friend Church. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
