He was predeceased by: his parents, Michael Kohler and Pauline Kohler (Howatinech); his wife Betty Baxter; and his siblings, Max, Frank, Jim, Mike, Edna Askelson, Alice Larson, Kate Ogle and Lillian Seppala.
He is survived by: his children, Susan Coldagelli (Tony), Mark Kohler (Margaret) and Rick Kohler (Debbi); his grandchildren, Matt (Sarah), Scott (Liz), Dan (Dana), Brian Coldagelli (Thilini), Amy Frederick (Harry), Jennifer Kohler-Hotze (Steve Hotze), Katherine Kohler, Paige Hickey (Connor) and Grant Kohler; and his great grandchildren, Walter, Agnes, Norah, Isla, Scottie, Mia, Colin, Isaac Coldagelli, Emma, Anna, Frederick, Luke, Liam Kohler-Hotze and Dean Hickey.
