It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Dexter Hammond of Sycamore, Illinois, who passed away on September 22, 2021, at the age of 60, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his mother Betty Thompson; and his brother Victor Hammond. He is survived by: his daughters, Lexi and Alexis Louise Hammond; his siblings, Todd Thompson and Angie Thompson; his uncle Larry; and his aunts, Sabrina Hammond and Bernice Hammond. He is also survived by Several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Todd Thompson requested a celebration of life be held in Dexter's honor as opposed to traditional funeral services due to Covid.
