It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Cynthia Lakatos (Sycamore, Illinois), born in Geneva, Illinois, who passed away on August 15, 2019, at the age of 58, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Donald Reser and Jean Reser (Killbury); and her grandparents, Virginia and Jim Killbury. She is survived by: her husband Gary T. Lakatos; her daughter Rachelle Lakatos Sequin (Brian); her grandchildren, Estella and Cameron; her brother Jim (Denise); her nieces and nephews, Kimmy, Stacie, Jennifer and Linda (Bill); her great-nieces and great-nephews, Keith, Desi, Andrea, Stephanie and David; and also, Kristy, Ryan, David, Jr., Donna McLain, Michael, Kacie, Justin, Leila, Charlie, Amanda, McKenzie, Shawn, Ginny (Neil), Alan and Kathy.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the Cynthia A. Lakatos Memorial Fund, for Northwestern Medicine Kishwaukee Hospital Cancer Center, addressed to the Lakatos Family in care of Anderson Funeral Home, P.O. Box 605, 2011 South Fourth Street, DeKalb, IL 60115.
