He was predeceased by: his parents, Cecil Chesser and Mae Chesser (Mattingly); and his brothers, Homer, Herman and Billy Joe.
He is survived by: his wife Patricia E. Riley; his children, Gene Chesser (Tina), Keith Chesser (Julie), Pamela Chesser and Kenneth Chesser (Darcy); and his grandchildren, Brandon, Courtney, Timothy, Christopher, Brittany, Amanda, Zachary, Mellissa, Scott, Cheyenne, Raven, Sienna, Payton, Bryan and Jacob. He is also survived by 11 great grandchildren.
