He was predeceased by: his parents, Olof Larson and Elsa Larson (Olson); and his sister Sandra Wright (Wells). He is survived by: his wife Mary Larson (Strom); his daughters, Ingrid Crepas (Alex) and Martha Kohlstrand (John); his grandchildren, Ingrid O'Connor and Hanlon O'Connor; and his sister Susan Martinson (Paul). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be divided equally between The Sonia Shankman Orthogenic School and The Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.
