He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Walter Carlson and Charlotte Carlson (Nachtigal); his children, Cathleen Carlson of Sycamore and Tim Carlson of Sycamore; his siblings, Rita Whitney of Decatur and Bill Carlson (Mary) of Pecatonica; his daughter-in-law Lorelli Carlson of Sycamore; his siblings-in-law, Jane DiGiovine of Naperville and Richard Gallagher (Cliff) of St; his pets, Angel, Harley, Lou and Tango; his brother Richard Carlson (Pat); his brothers-in-law, Carlton "Bruz" Whitney, Carmen DiGiovine and Jordan Gallagher; his niece Diane Whitney; and his pets, Ginger, Ernie, Cheerio and Casey. He was also cherished by 19 nieces and nephews, a multitude of friends.
