It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Cathy Ann Johnson Giddings of Sycamore, Illinois, born in DeKalb, Illinois, who passed away on April 6, 2023, at the age of 61, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Leona May Johnson (Moland) and Lawrence Johnson; and her father-in-law Harold Giddings. She is survived by: her husband Brian James Giddings of Sycamore; her children, Mike Hurst of Davis Junction, Melissa Capes (Clint) of Rochelle, Mandy Mason (James) of Creston, Matthew Hurst of Rochelle, Dalton Hurst (Kyra Cullen) of Sycamore and Nicole Hurst of Murray, KY; her grandchildren, Katelynn, Molly, Dexter Hurst, Danielle, Zachary Capes, Brianna Brechon (Cody), Devin Moses and Caleb Moses; and her siblings, Richard Johnson (Dawn) of Rochelle, Brian Johnson (Dawn) of Rochelle and Sharon Brooks of Rochelle. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
