He was predeceased by: his father Donald G. Sprietler. He is survived by: his mother Shelby Sprietler (Trantham); his wife Cheri Sprietler; his children, Jessica Smothers (Charles), Justin Sprietler, Daniel Sprietler (Shane Mahon), Katelyn Helmold and Benjamin Helmold; his grandchildren, Carly, Andrew and Joshua Smothers; and his sister Marchelle Weir.
