He was predeceased by: his uncles, Jerry Bennett and Lance Welch. He is survived by: his nieces and nephews, Lex Bennett and Xander Brown; his significant other Angie Schroeder; his parents, Bill and Chris; his brother Steven Welch (Tara); and also Paul Kakoliris.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the family for a fund to be established.
