It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Benjamin Byrd (Sycamore, Illinois), born in Palmyra, Illinois, who passed away on December 9, 2019, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Elisha Byrd and Cassie Mai Byrd (Moore); and his siblings, Eatterson, Arthur, Jack and Margaret Myers.
He is survived by: his wife Waydene Carney; his daughters, Joyce Westlake-Davis (Steve) and Joann Kunkel; his grandchildren, David Westlake (Sarah), Jennifer Weglarz, Jared Kunkel (Jenni) and Jordan Kunkel; his great grandchildren, Harper Weglarz, Jameson, Johonna, Carter and Jaxson Kunkel; and his brother Ernest Byrd (Stacy). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
