We are sad to announce that on July 30, 2023 we had to say goodbye to Barbara Frankenberg of Sycamore, Illinois, born in Chicago, Illinois. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Phillip Melzer and Mary Melzer (Stewart); her sons, Brian Buttera and Joseph Buttera; and her siblings, Phillip Melzer and Susan O'Donavan.
She is survived by: her husband Bill Frankenberg of Sycamore; her daughter Michelle Sarallo (Louis) of Cortland; her grandchildren, Jacob, Ashley and Ryan Sarallo; her sister Jane Campbell (Gary) of Glenview; and her sister-in-law Maureen Melzer. She is also survived by many cousins, nieces and nephews.
A memorial fund has been established for DeKalb County Community Gardens, 2260 Bethany Road, DeKalb, IL 60115.
