She was predeceased by: her parents, Matthias Ford and Lois Ford (Mahin); her brother Gary Ford; and her son Paul Bret O'Brien. She is survived by: her husband Ivan Dene Waldrop; her stepsons, Ron Waldrop of St. Louis, Dave Waldrop of Sumner and Duane Waldrop of Sumner, Illinois; her daughter-in-law Rhonda O'Brien of Indianapolis, Indiana; her siblings, Tony Ford of Bridgeport, Illinois and Carole Adams (Jack) of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; and her caregivers, Gayle Inyart and Jessica Cafin.
