He was predeceased by: his parents, Melvin'Red' Vowels and Wilma Vowels (Polk); his sister Sharon Lee Vowels; and his son Robert'Rob'Eugene Vowels. He is survived by: his wife Marilyn Jean; his daughter Jennifer Vowels Garza (Rudy) of Sumner, Illinois; and his grandchildren, Austin Vowels (Jennifer) and Megan Vowels (David Hundley) of Sumner, Illinois. He is also survived by several great-grandchildren.
