With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joseph M. Rodriguez of Sumner, Illinois, born in Chicago, Illinois, who passed away on February 14, 2023 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Jose Rodriguez and Petra Rodriguez (Mojica); and his siblings, Rodulfo Rodriguez, Tomas Rodriguez, Sanjuana Perez, Felicitas Garcia, Micaela Franco, Connie ZaVala, Rosie Sida and Catarina Murilla.
He is survived by: his wife Maggie; his children, Anthony R. Rodriguez (Carmine) of Chicago, Doreinda Shimak (Thomas) of Leadville, Maureen Rusnak (George) of Chicago, JoAnn Ryan (Gerald) and Joseph R. Rodriguez of Sumner, Illinois; and his sister Ermnia Acevedo. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; as well as many nieces, nephews, and friends.
