With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Jack Piper of Sumner, Illinois, born in Olney, Illinois, who passed away on August 18, 2020 at the age of 88. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Jack Piper to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Marion X. Piper and Nettie Bell Piper (Williams); and his sister Marion Jean Engledow. He is survived by: his wife Jewel A. Wheeler; his daughter Judy Pauley (Rick); his siblings, Jerry Piper (Blanche) and Janet Ulrich of Sumner, Illinois; his grandchildren, Jaclyn Peterson (Matthew), Joanna Johnson (Roger) and Matt Pauley (Amelia); and his great grandchildren, Norah, Charlotte Peterson, Gavin Emmons, Jack, Emma, Abigail, Ben Johnson and Alanis McClure.

Memorial donations may be made to the Sumner United Methodist Church.
