With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Donald Verl Piper of Sumner, Illinois, who passed away on January 14, 2022 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Burnis Piper and Ada Piper (Steuber); his son Timothy Piper; and his siblings, Dewey Piper and Mary Line.
He is survived by: his wife Anna Alberta Gunzel; his children, Burnis E. Piper (Sherry Sloan) of Sumner and Judith Ann Schwarz (William) of Centralia, Illinois; his sister Bernice Wasylik of Bothell, Washington; his grandchildren, Morgan Nehrt and Veronica Schwarz; his great grandchildren, Warric Nehrt, Fennic Nehrt and Wulfric Nehrt; and his nieces and nephews, Robyn Mortensen, Krista Neihls, Gregory Wasylik and Doug Line.
