He was predeceased by: his parents, Ascension Alvarado and Juanita Duarte-Alvarado; his siblings, John (Marlene), Theresa (Mike), Angela (Chuck), Louisa (Al), Eleanor, Mary, Ramona, Peter and Robert; and his granddaughter Nicole.
He is survived by: his brother Richard (Josephine); his wife Deborah Gniadek-Alvarado; his children, Kelly (Joseph), Carmela (Joseph), Gail, Joey (Barb), Brandy (Alex) and Kimberly (Jason); his grandchildren, Justiss (Alfonso), Alyssa, Joshua, Livianna, Kalysta, Andrew, Kelsey (Kevin), Dakota, Kataleya, Alfonso, Samantha, Marky, Micheal, Lauren (Eddie), Ashley (Victor), Beverly (Humberto) and Carmela; and his great grandchildren, Kaylee, Carmelo, Nathan, Robert, Julie, Ava and Amadeus.
