It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ruth Louise Godwin of Sullivan, Illinois, who passed away on February 26, 2023, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Charles Wesley and Sousa "Susie" A. Webb (Montgomery); her husband Levi Leon Godwin; and her children, Shirley Vazquez (Frank), Kay Gatton (Henry), Janet Berns (Tom), Marcy Ilena Godwin Hayse (Frank), Debbie Godwin of Pana, IL and Jack Punches. She was also cherished by 11 Grandchildren; 19 Great Grandchildren.
