It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Raymond L. Brown Jr. of Sullivan, Illinois, who passed away on September 7, 2023, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond L. Brown, Sr. and Elizabeth Brown (Tuttle). He is survived by: his wife Caroline R. Blackwell of Sullivan; his children, Scott Brown of Sullivan and Michelle Brown (Roger Betzler) of Sullivan; and his stepbrother Mike Carter of Effingham. He is also survived by 6 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
