She was predeceased by: her parents, Bill Hillard and Helen Kelly Hillard. She is survived by: her husband Claude'Ben'Bennett of Sullivan; her son Chris Bennett (Shari) of Mattoon; her granddaughter Chloe Bennett; and her sisters, Peggy Hillard of Newman and Betty Jo Wagoner (Daniel) of Newman.

Visitation was held on Thursday, December 19th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Reed Funeral Home (1112 S Hamilton St, Sullivan, IL 61951). A graveside service was held on Thursday, December 19th 2024 at the Fairfield Cemetery.
