Though John Garvin may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those John Garvin touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Malloy and Gladys Malloy (Ballard). He is survived by: his wife Mary Ann Malloy of Sullivan; his son Mike Malloy (Michele Kirksey) of Sullivan; his stepson Ed Moody of Sullivan; and his granddaughters, Heather Vincent (L. J.) of Sullivan and Hannah Moody of Sullivan.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, November 23rd 2024 at 3:00 PM at the Sullivan VFW Post 6410 (1132 IL-32, Sullivan, IL 61951).
