It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jackie Dean Jarrell of Sullivan, Illinois, who passed away on July 27, 2024, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Jackie Dean departs from this earthly realm, his essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Jackie Dean may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Jackie Dean leaves behind.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Eugene and Ora Marie Jarrell (Miller); and his spouse Shirley Ann Walker. He is survived by: his children, Michael Jarrell (Laura) of Spring Hill, TN, Mark Jarrell (Jenny) of Spring Hill, TN and Lisa Hagen (Chip) of Sullivan; and his siblings, Merle Gene Jarrell (Doris) of West Virginia and Judy Jarrell (Glen) of West Virginia. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.
