He was predeceased by: his parents, George Huckstep and Faye Brown Huckstep; his stepmother Edna Huckstep; and his nephew Sean Brightman. He is survived by: his close friend Cheryl Wheeler; his former wife Bernita McMahan of Sullivan; his daughter Staci Huckstep of Sullivan; his grandchildren, Tyler Young (Jordyn) of Greenville and Megan Huckstep (Steven Donaldson) of Sullivan; his great grandchild Boston Donaldson; his siblings, George Huckstep of Decatur, Bill Huckstep of Decatur and Linda Huckstep of Decatur; his close friend Butch Davis; his friend Edna Bailey; and also, Ben and Rhett of Sullivan. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
