Evan Dickens Obituary

We are sad to announce that on December 6, 2024, at the age of 93, Evan Dickens of Sullivan, Illinois passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Evan Dickens to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Jesse W. Dickens and Blanche Hagerman Dickens; and his siblings, Alan, Stephen, Norman and Joan Dickens.

He is survived by: his wife Dixie Houchin of Sullivan; his children, Greg Dickens (Micah) of Sullivan and Amanda Montgomery (Bob) of Sullivan; his brother Mark Dickens (Ann) of Sullivan; and his grandchildren, Hutson Dickens, Isaac Dickens, Lincoln Dickens, Gibson Dickens, Rissa Montgomery and Braden Montgomery.

Visitation was held on Sunday, December 8th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Elim Springs Church of Jesus Christ. A celebration of life was held on Sunday, December 8th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location.

Memorials are suggested to the Little Theater on the Square in Sullivan or to the Allerton Park Trust.
