It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dorothy F. Craig of Sullivan, Illinois, born in Findlay, Illinois, who passed away on January 12, 2024, at the age of 101, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Lawrence and Dorothy Blanche Matheson (Crouch); her former husband Bill Emel; her husband Carl Craig; her son Kent Emel; her daughter-in-law Ann Emel; and her grandson Chad Loy.
She is survived by: her children, Roger Emel of Bethany, Ronald Emel (Linda) of Bethany, Dick Emel (Barb) of Bethany, Bob Emel of Sullivan, J. R. Craig (Cathrine) of Sullivan and Anne Loy Tegarden (Charlie) of Kingman, AZ; and her daughter-in-law Sharon Emel of Sullivan. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and 6 great-great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to Courtyard Estates of Sullivan or to the First Christian Church in Sullivan.
