She was predeceased by: her parents, Leo Melvin, Sr. and Elenora Mae Sloan (Abernathy); her daughter Jeannie Hingson; her siblings, Leo, Jr., Loren Sloan, Rickie Sloan and Lucille Wissink; and her brother-in-law Leroy Runge.
She is survived by: her husband Kevin Shirley of Sullivan; her daughters, Katherine Inman (Daniel) of Sullivan, Candice Fletcher (Quentin) of Mattoon and Nichole Iacobazzi of Sullivan; her stepdaughter Jenny Clay (Rick) of Arcola; her son John Hingson (Kathy) of Sullivan; her stepsons, Jason Shirley (Brandy) of Effingham and Mark Shirley of Mattoon; her sisters, Mary Lee Runge of Goreville, Linda McCoy (Floyd) of Newton and Judy Pedigo of Virginia; her grandchildren, Tyler Kean, Corynn Kean, Johnathan Iacobazzi, Peyton Fletcher and Keagan Fletcher; her stepgrandchildren, Lennon Shirley, Maddie Shirley and Cierra Inman; and her great grandchildren, Ana Kean and Lilly Rodgers.
