It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Darlene Burgess of Sullivan, Illinois, who passed away on June 4, 2022, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Delmar Elzy and Minnie Kidwell Elzy; her husband Cecil R. Burgess; her son Ron; and her grandson Richie Probus.
She is survived by: her daughters, Shirley Lindley (Bill) of Sullivan, Linda Probus (Richard) of Sullivan and Susie Burgess of Sullivan; her daughter-in-law Heide Burgess of Sullivan; and her siblings, Kenneth Elzy of Texas, Gale Elzy (Charlene) of Sullivan, Marshall Elzy (Kathy) of Sullivan and Inna Pickel of Sullivan. She is also survived by four grandchildren; nine great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren.
Memorials are suggested to a charity of the donor's choice.
