He was predeceased by: his parents, Samuel Clarence and Mabel Marie Standerfer (Webb). He is survived by: his wife Darlene June Britton of Sullivan; his children, Scott Standerfer (Lisa) of Charleston, Rodney Standerfer (Missy) of Brighton and Janice Standerfer of Sullivan; his grandchildren, Phil Humphreys (Laura), Donnie Standerfer, Bill Standerfer (Kaity), Scotty Standerfer, Danielle Standerfer and Jonathan Gavin; and his sister Karen Rodgers of Sullivan. He is also survived by 6 great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to the Sullivan Fire Department or to the Sullivan Rehabilitation and Health Care Center Activity Fund.
