He was predeceased by: his parents, Homer Edmon and Edith Lillian Sager Abrams; and his brother Charles H. Abrams. He is survived by: his wife Susan Perry of Sullivan; his children, Paula Evans (David) of Lovington and Kevin Abrams (Frances Smith) of Rantoul; and his sister Barbara Dean (Tom) of Sullivan. He is also survived by four grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
