She was predeceased by: her parents, Elgar Glen and Ida Mae Allen (Keown); her former husband John R. Lambdin, Jr.; her husband Carl Coventry; her children, Sherry Lee Cleveland, Lynda Diane Baker (Stephen Andrew), Stephen Edward Coventry (Connie Jo) and Roger Alan Coventry; her stepchildren, Bonnie Rhodes and Clyde Lambdin; her granddaughter Rachel Michelle Dettling; her grandson-in-law David Matthew Johnson; and her siblings, Harold Glen Allen, Paul Edward Allen, Bob G. Allen and Pauline Mae Johnson Boehm.
She is survived by: her children, Dennis Harold Coventry (Linda) of Meridan, CT, Michael E. Coventry (Patricia) of Mattoon, IL, Marilyn Sue Zimmer (Mark) of Olympia, WA and Carla Jean Dettling (Neil) of Shelbyville, IL; her stepchildren, Byron Lambdin (Linda) of Sullivan, IL, Rita Edenfield of San Diego, CA and Stella Lambdin of Sullivan, IL; her daughter-in-law Barb Thomas Coventry of Toledo, OH; her brother Kenneth Allen (Dara) of Olney, IL; and her grandchildren, Rhonda Lee Bollenbaugh (Bill), Michael Todd Coventry-Fant (Chuck), Michelle Renee Kern (Aaron), Katherine Burke Coventry, Michael Jude Coventry (Jamie), Patrick Joseph Coventry, Mary Grace Coventry-Stern (Josh), Kelly Kress, Michelle Kress, Lyndsey Regina Reedy (Kevin), Brennon Andrew Baker (Kalyn) and Jared Thomas Coventry. She is also survived by 12 great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, December 12th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Howe and Yockey Funeral Home (415 N Broadway St, Shelbyville, IL 62565). A funeral service was held on Thursday, December 12th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Calendar Howe & Yockey Funeral Home (415 N Broadway St, Shelbyville, IL 62565).
Memorials may be given to the First Baptist Church of Sullivan, IL or Shelbyville Manor Activity Fund.
