We are sad to announce that on April 2, 2023, at the age of 82, Benton Armer of Sullivan, Illinois, born in Tompkinsville, Kentucky passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Bedford C. Armer and Estelle Bean Armer; his wife Linda S. Hughes; and his sons, Frank and Rick.

He is survived by: his daughter Rhonda Newberry (Keith) of Sullivan; his friend Stella Harlin of Sullivan; his siblings, John Armer (Connie) of Bethany, Tom Armer (Chryl) of Mt. Zion, Sarah Dolan (Lynn) of Normal and Mary Dunn of Travaras, Florida; his grandchildren, Samantha Tello (Adrian) of Georgia, Ryan Newberry (Breanna) of Sullivan and Nick Newberry of Sullivan; and his great grandchildren, Keegan Newberry, Leah Newberry and Jackson Newberry.
