As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Ardis may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the echoes of her kindness, the warmth of her embrace, and the light of her enduring love.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Jesse Raymond and Helen Marguerite Benjamin Hill; her husband Paul E. Shuman; her son Scott; and her brothers, Wallace Hill and Roger Hill.
She is survived by: her son Eric Shuman (Lisa); and her grandchildren, Chance and April Shuman (Brandon Willoughby).
Memorials are suggested to the Illinois Retired Teachers Association or to the United Women in Faith at the Sullivan First United Methodist Church.
