She was predeceased by: her parents, John Chalkey and Helen Chalkey; her husband John Albertsen; her daughter Cheryl Schmidt; and her brother William Chalkey.

She is survived by: her daughter Cynthia Albertsen of Aurora; her brother John Chalkey of Aurora; her grandchildren, Tara LaFan of Oswego and John Albertsen (Emily) of Geneva; and her great grandchildren, AJ, Cassidy, Nathan LaFan, Mya, Lilly, John and Sarah Albertsen.
