He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Stephano and Mary Jane Stephano (VanFleet); his wife Marcia Voss; and his sister Paula Stephano. He is survived by: his daughter Olivia Stephano; his stepdaughter Julie Puddicombe; his son Benjamin Bradley (Erin); his brothers, Michael Stephano (late Mary), Ron Stephano (Linda) and Mark Stephano (late Cheryl); and his nieces and nephews, Molly, Andrew Hoelscher, Samuel Stephano, Robyn Chione (Gregg) and Rhonda Duck (Brett).

Walter was a lifelong animal lover, the family requested to please send plants in lieu of flowers.
