Richards of Sugar Grove, Illinois, born in Dixon, Illinois, who passed away at the age of 70, on November 10, 2023. He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert "Bob" V. Richards and Gilda "Fay" Richards; and his siblings, Thomas Richards, Robert N. Richards (Shirley) and Mona Tuftee.

He is survived by: his wife Geanie Richards; his siblings, Yolane Meusel (George), Stanley Richards (Jerolee) and Patricia Taylor (Jerry); his former wife Meegan Hudson (Dean); his children, Adam Richards, Jacob Richards (Marisa), Nicolas Poplawski (Caroline), Kyrsten "Missie" Poplawski, Ryan Poplawski and Annarose Poplawski; and his granddaughters, Adeline Richards, Lucy Richards and Amelia Poplawski. He is also survived by many cousins, nieces, nephews, and lifelong friends.
