She was predeceased by: her parents, Harold Paul and Elizabeth Mary Smith; and her brothers, Bernard Lee Smith, Thomas Joseph Smith and Richard Harold Smith.
She is survived by: her husband Gary Busse of Aurora, IL; her children, Andrea Dyson (Jim) of Gilbert, AZ and Eric Saunders (Stephanie) of Yorkville, IL; her stepchildren, Sanford Busse (Becca) of Yorkville, IL, Alisa Biedess (Scott) of Lemont, IL and Christine Nelson (Christopher) of Sugar Grove, IL; her siblings, David Smith (Marilyn) of Endwell, NY, James Smith (Marie) of Ilion, NY and Carole Belardinelli (Joseph) of Vestal, NY; and her sister-in-law Juliet Smith of Binghamton, NY. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
