She was predeceased by: her parents, Iver Anderson and Mabel Anderson; and her sister Donna Carter. She is survived by: her family Rojean; her children, Randy Gum, Ricky Gum (Dorothy), Robin Robatzek (William) and Ronna Jones (Samuel); her grandchildren, Kimberly Halsey, Robert Gum (Judith), Arik Gum (Monica), Adam Gum (Nickey), Angela Jungels (Jake), William Robatzek, Ryan Robatzek (Shelley), Brett Robatzek, Derek Robatzek, Haylee Roush, Rick Jones (Serena) and Nina Schumacher (Brad); her sister Dorothy Duke; her caregiver Ethel Sibande; her husband Robert Gum; and her brother Dewayne Anderson. She is also survived by 23 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Hinckley United Methodist Church (801 N Sycamore St, Hinckley, IL 60520). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established in Rojean's name to benefit Big Rock Fire Department and the Big Rock Plowing Match Association. Checks may be made to the "Rojean E. Gum Memorial" and mailed in care of P.O. Box 66, Elburn, 60119.
