It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Michael Joseph Collins of Sugar Grove, Illinois, who passed away on July 16, 2022, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Collins and Genevieve Collins (Kearins); his stepfather Albert Schmidt; and his siblings, Kathleen Meyer, Judith Taylor, Deborah Nowak and Bartley Collins.
He is survived by: his sons, Mike Jr. (Sharon Collins), Brian (Mary Collins) and Tom (Mary Collins); his wife Katy (Muldoon); his granddaughters, Cassie, Jackie (Mike Jr), Caitlin, Ashley (Brian), Shannon, Kelly and Bridget (Tom); and his brother Tom Collins of San Diego, CA..
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to Holy Angels Catholic School in Aurora or Holy Cross Catholic School in Batavia.
