It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marvin L. Gapinske of Sugar Grove, Illinois, born in Kansas City, Missouri, who passed away on May 15, 2023, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his mother Laura Gapinske (Dieterlen); his brother Melvin Gapinske; his grandson Adam Gapinske; and his brother-in-law William Baker. He is survived by: his wife Eunice K. Gapinske (Abbott); his siblings, Mary Baker, Donald Baker (Mary Sue) and Douglas Baker; his children, Gary Gapinske (Jane), Debra Galvan (Robert) and Dale Gapinske; his grandchildren, Christopher Gapinske, Michael Gapinske (Lauren), Robert Galvan, Timothy Galvan (Jessica), Jonathan Galvan, Matthew Galvan, Ryan Galvan (Chasity) and Amanda Gapinske; and his great grandchildren, Robert, Adam, Isabel, Natalie, Timothy, Jeffrey, Layla, Skylar, Ryan, Damien and Destiny. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
