It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lucille M. Winter of Sugar Grove, Illinois, who passed away on February 25, 2025, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Nelson Mefford and Wilma Mefford; her husband James Winter; her children, Sandra and Michael; and her sisters, Nadine, Marlene and Evelyn.
She is survived by: her son Stephen J. Winter (Beth) of Aurora, IL; her granddaughters, Lindsey R. Carr (Dan) of Montgomery, IL and Carissa R. Ellison (Tim) of Sugar Grove, IL; her great grandchildren, Maren, Greta Carr, Emma, Tiana, Jackson, Keyshawn and Isabella Ellison; and her brothers, Laverne Mefford of Robinson, IL and Melvin Mefford of Flat Rock, IL. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
