He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, John Lewis and Helen Steele Ditzler; his wife Mary Jane Ridgway; his daughters, Kathryn D. Crabb (Kathy), R. D. of Hilliard and Dr. Laura D. Pittman of Aurora; his sons-in-law, Jarred Charles Crabb and Thomas Lindley Pittman; his grandchildren, Amanda Crabb Nofzinger (Matthew), Darcey Elizabeth Pittman (New) and Gale Pittman; his great grandchildren, Joanna Faith Nofzinger and Benjamin Lindley Nofzinger; his sisters, Nancy D. Chen [Bill] (Barbara D. Iwami [Larry]) and Hilo of Hawaii; and his nephew Christopher John Chen.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to New England Congregational Church, Aurora, IL or the United Church of Christ, Midland, MI.
