She was predeceased by: her parents, William Melby and Nora Melby; and her mother-in-law Virginia Giesen. She is survived by: her husband Brian Giesen; her sons, Shannon Voorheis-Dameron (Brian), Jason Voorheis (Nathalie), Colin Giesen (Kristy), Tim Giesen (Laura) and Morgan Niccum (Toby); her grandchildren, Anna (George), Tia (Shane), Tyler, Isaac, Alyssa, Lucie, Kayla, Aaron, Molly, Emma, Chloe, Luke, Shea, Matthew, Julia of June, TJ and Elle; and her siblings, Linda Jude, Joseph Melby, David Melby, Janet Giesen, Dan Giesen and Stephen Giesen. She is also survived by grandmother, dear mother, and beloved wife for 65 years.
